As we previously announced, the Pepperberg Lab, which has been renting space at Brandeis University for many years, must now find a new home. After exploring a few options, we are thrilled to announce that we have accepted space at Harvard University.
We are very fortunate to have been offered space at Harvard as Dr. Pepperberg teaches at the university and I attend, so this move will make travel much more convenient. The space is significantly larger then what we had at Brandeis and will allow for a much more spacious training area. Everyone at Harvard is thrilled to have us coming and has been more than welcoming. Each time I have gone into the new space I am filled with excitement over the new research possibilities that this move opens up and limitations that will no longer exist.
We recommend that any correspondence after July 7th be sent to the Harvard address. The new address for the Lab at Harvard is:
Pepperberg Lab
Department of Psychology, William James Hall
33 Kirkland Street
Harvard University
Cambridge, MA 02138
Also, if you need a shorter address for any reason, you can simply write:
Pepperberg Lab
Harvard University
Cambridge, MA 02138
As always you can easily contact us via email at alex@alexfoundation.org.
The Lab will officially be moving July 15th. This is obviously a very hectic time for us here at the Lab, so we do appreciate everyone’s patience and support through this transition!
Congrats on the move! Hopefully this will allow even more of your groundbreaking research to proceed!
Thank you so much! We certainly hope so!
Congrats on the new move! I would love to adopt an African Grey- even if it couldn’t talk- if only I had the time for it!!
Hi there,
Just learned about the move through Harvard’s twitter! Glad you guys are getting a better space, and glad Harvard is supporting this research!
