Alex Commemorative Pendant
Hand-crafted sterling silver and natural ruby pendant by Nancy Kasper of Earthly Designs Fine Jewelry, this very special piece was commissioned by friend, Maggie Buchanan in gratitude for the contributions of Dr. Irene Pepperberg and Alex, the African Grey Parrot to the advancement of science.
Designed from photographs capturing Alex's uniqueness, a natural ruby is set to show his distinctive red feather, this hand carved and cast sterling silver pendant is offered for sale with all profits to go to The Alex Foundation. Artist/jeweler Nancy Kasper of earthlydesigns.net has been creating fine jewelry with bird, animal, and contemporary designs for over 25 years.

Alex Accomplishment's T-Shirt
T-shirts are individually silk-screened and hand-painted to order.. If part of a multiple order they will be shipped separately by the artist.
We are proud to offer the newest addition to the ever popular Alex t-shirt collection designed by Alex’s talented friend Karla Zimonja. This eclectic shirt heralds Alex’s accomplishments and features some of his favorite self-created words like ‘cork nut’ (for almond) and ‘banerry’ (for apple-which Alex thinks resembles a banana/cherry combination). Also pictured are the number 4 (one of Alex’s favorite numbers) and S (one of his favorite phonemes). These cleverly designed shirts are a must have item for fans of the world’s smartest parrot.
